Paprika Productions is a South African event coordination, production, and theatre company committed to celebrating and nurturing artistic expression while hosting phenomenal events for all ages and walks of life.

Founded in 2019 by Ildi van der Linde, the company began as a passion project focused on hosting quiz nights. With experience as a quiz master since 2016, Ildi saw an opportunity to blend her love of entertainment and storytelling into a unique offering. For several years, Paprika Productions grew slowly but steadily. In 2024, the company took an exciting step forward when Ildi’s husband, Hannes van der Linde, and her best friend, Gugu Madlabane, officially joined the team—adding new energy and skills to the growing enterprise. In addition to hosting events such as quizzes, karaoke nights, and private functions, Paprika Productions was founded on the dream of telling stories that inspire, challenge, and stir something deep within both the audience and the performers.

Since then, we’ve expanded our offerings to include corporate, private, and public quizzes, bingo nights, karaoke events, theatre productions, and hosting at markets and large-scale gatherings. Our mission is twofold, to bring people together through meaningful, memorable events of all sizes across South Africa and to provide a platform for emerging actors, writers, directors, and designers to showcase their talents and connect with new audiences.
